St. John the Baptist Church, Poulner
The foundation stone is dated 14th May 1914, so the church is comparatively modern - not striking architecturally, but well loved by the people who worship here.   It was built as a Mission Church - a Chapel of Ease - about 1½ miles from Ringwood itself, to help to spread the good news so that people could worship very near to where they lived.

Three housing estates have sprung up near the church, plus primary schools, a doctors’ surgery, a pub and a useful selection of shops - all serving the needs of the local community.
