Ringwood Carnival

Peter Jackson reports on the 2009 Parish Carnival entry.

The 2009 Carnival entry - After many hours construction our entry into this year’s Carnival burst onto the scene in the streets of Ringwood at both the afternoon and the evening processions. As you can see it was a brilliantly conceived, simple idea, of the Church being on a journey that all of us Christians participate in, each in our different ways.

We were all excited to win a third place for walking entries in the evening procession, but more than that, our participation raised the profile of the Church a little more in our community and showed that we can have a lot of fun. This year's float is now well under way!
